In the name of god Amen the third daie of November Ano Dim 1606 I Anthony Farrow of Hanslapp in the Countie of Bucks laborer bing ill and diseased in my body but of p[er]fect remembrance thanks be to Almightie god do make this my last will and testament following first I bequeath my soule to Almightie god and my body to be buried in Hanslapp Church yard aforesaid Also I geve and bequeath to Mary Atty Mr Attyes daughter my great cheste Also I geve to my Brother Mathew Farrowes three children a crowne to be devided among them And more to his sone Edmond at London fyve shillings Also to Thomas Moselys children tene shillings to be devided among them which he had by my sister Also I geve to my brother Odells children eight shillings to be devided among them Also I geve to John Corbies children three shillings to be devided among them Also I geve to John Gardiners children of Stratford three shillings to be devided among them Also to Thomas Corcks sone xij d To Thomas Daves three boyes iij s to be devided among them Also I geve to tenne of the porest widowes in Hanslapp ten grots to every one a grote Also I geve to my god daughter An Harris xij d Also I geve to Thomas Churches children of Croly ij s to be devided among them Also I geve unto Rowland Hill clarke to sing some godlie psalms at my buriall xij d and to two other which he shall appoint vj d a peece The rest of all my goods and chattells as well moveable as immoveable my debts being payd and my ordynarie funerall dischardged I geve and bequeath to Joane my wife whom I make my sole executrix of this my last will and testament yf she kepe her selfe unmaried But if she do marry then the rest of my said goods and chattells unbequeathed shalbe (at my overseers discretion) to be given and bequeathed or distributed to the rest of my kinsfolke then lyving Mr John Fosters sonne Anthony Foster and Robert Brafield my overseers to se this my last will and testament iustly performed and for their paines I doe geve them iij s a peece These being witnesses And further I geve to my land ladies Misses Mary Foster and Misses Jane Foster iij s a peece and if one of them do dye before they have their legacys then she that is lyving longest shall have the hole vij s Anthony Farrows mark Robert Brafields mark Rowland Hills mark the Sexton shall ring but one bell afore and after and to him xij d for his paines Proved 20th March 1607
