The building was listed in 1979 with listing particulars as follows.

SP 84 NW HANSLOPE TATHALL END 4/90 No. 40 and 41/42 (formerly listed as Nos. 39 to 42 (consec.) 6.4.79 GV II Farmhouse, now sub-divided. Dated 1631 on reset stone in gable of C19 porch. Altered and added to. 2 storeys' plus attic; 3 bays, L-shaped in plan. Ground floor with three 3-light casements flanking the central entrance, now within a porch. 1 st floor with two 3-light casements. All windows with leaded lights. To the left, the short arm of the L extended by one single storeyed bay to the south.
