A two-bay 1 1/2 storey thatched cottage occupying a 9m wide plot between 29 and 33 Gold Street, and probably built in the first half of the 17th century, and later that the buildings on either side.
It was recorded as a listed building in 1984. The entry is as follows. SP 84 NW HANSLOPE GOLD STREET (east side) 4/73 No. 31 - GV II Cottage. C18 coursed rubblestone. Thatched roof. 2 bays and one storey with dormers. Off centre board door. 2 lights casements, except left hand ground floor 3-light. End stacks. |
